There are two type main types of membership at Sutton Bingham SC relating to the time of year. There is Full membership which allows the member full access to all club facilities for the whole of the year and is described below. There is also Winter membership which allows the winter member to join us just for the winter months.

The following are the requirements that apply to all boats at the Club, whichever membership you choose -

All Boats must be a Monohull

All boats must have a Portsmouth Yardstick Number

The maximum length of boat is 16'6"

The maximum mast height (including a burgee) is 7.5m above water height - this is due to power lines running across the reservoir at one end of the lake

Maximum weight of a boat is 400lbs

The sailing permit issued on a successful application will allow trailing and car topping if there are no dinghy park spaces available at the time of request.

Every member has to do either OOD (rescue duty) or Galley duty. If they do not wish to do so then they must pay the optional opt-out fee. If a member renews their subscriptions by the end of January they will receive a £10 discount.

The following table is a guide only and latest prices can be found on the memebrship form, which can be found on following links -
