AUTUMN RACE TRAINING<\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m pleased to announce the following dates for race training sessions at SBSC:<\/span><\/p>\n

Saturday 3 September and Saturday 17 September, 2.30pm – 5pm<\/span><\/p>\n

Group sessions open to all classes of dinghy and aimed towards all club racers who want to improve their racing skills. The content of each session will depend on weather conditions on the day and requirements of participants, but will certainly include start practice and mark rounding techniques. We will spend as much time on the water as possible but will cover some theory and tactics too, together with some video analysis. Price per session: Single-handers \u00a315, double-handers \u00a320. Group size limited to 12. A great opportunity to brush up your skills ahead of the Laser Open Meeting (1 October) and the Club Championship (2 October).<\/span><\/p>\n

Laser Clinic – Saturday 15 October, 10.30am – 4.30pm<\/span><\/p>\n

Laser specific race training day. This is open to members of SBSC and Laser sailors from other local sailing clubs. More details to follow on Facebook \/ Chris Jones Sailing and the SBSC Yahoo Newsgroup.<\/p>\n
